CLAIM-2026-08-14-02

AI Act Article 89(2) provides that downstream providers "shall have the right to lodge a complaint alleging an infringement of this Regulation", and requires that a complaint be duly reasoned and indicate at least (a) the point of contact of the provider of the general-purpose AI model concerned, (b) a description of the relevant facts, the provisions of the Regulation concerned and the reason the downstream provider considers them infringed, and (c) any other information the downstream provider considers relevant, including information gathered on its own initiative.

Why it matters

Three named elements are the whole submission bar. A team that already keeps a supplier-documentation gap register has (b) written for it.
