CLAIM-2026-08-22-02
In the incompatible-goals experiment, three instances of the same model were each started on their own virtual machine in Claude Code and each tasked with migrating the same Python backend, hosted on a fourth VM, to a different target language - Rust, TypeScript and Golang - with each agent initially unaware of the presence of the others.
Why it matters
This is the shape of an ordinary parallel-agent setup, not an adversarial one. Anyone running several coding agents against one repository or one host is inside this experiment's design.
