Article 17(1) of the AI Act requires providers of high-risk AI systems to put in place a documented quality management system covering, among other things, design control, development and quality assurance, validation, technical specifications, data management, the risk management system, post-market monitoring, serious incident reporting, record keeping and an accountability framework.
Why it matters
It is the paperwork obligation an agent product will eventually be audited against, and every one of its points is scoped to a single system.
