DORA Article 28(8) requires financial entities to have exit strategies for ICT services supporting critical or important functions, documented and periodically tested, so that they can exit without disruption to business activities, without limiting compliance with regulatory requirements and without detriment to the continuity and quality of client services.

Why it matters

The thing to test is the agent and its grounding, not the infrastructure underneath it: reproducing a research output elsewhere is a different problem from moving a workload.
