Harness's State of Agent DLC 2026 reports that 76 per cent of surveyed enterprise teams believe they could disable a misbehaving AI agent in under fifteen minutes, while 33 per cent have an instant kill switch.

Why it matters

The number a team would quote in an incident review is a belief, not a measured capability. The delta is the part that has to exist on paper before anyone can claim oversight happened.
