Article 55(1)(c) of the AI Act requires providers of general-purpose AI models with systemic risk to report serious incidents to the AI Office without undue delay; Chapter V applies from 2 August 2025.
Why it matters
The duty was already live when the incident occurred in May 2026 and when the labs were notified in July.
