CLAIM-2026-09-23-01

OpenAI released GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna on 22 September 2026, available as gpt-6-sol and gpt-6-luna in the API and in ChatGPT Work and Codex the same day.

Why it matters

It fixes the event date against the vendor's own post rather than against a coverage date, which is what every later check in this edition is anchored to.
