The Digital Omnibus, Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, moved the AI Act's Annex III high-risk obligations to 2 December 2027.

Why it matters

It removes the deadline most commentary still cites as the reason a deployer will soon be obliged to configure oversight, and a coding agent in a team's own CI was not Annex III in any case.
