Article 53(1)(a) requires technical documentation of the model's training and testing process and the results of its evaluation, containing at least the information in Annex XI, and has been in force since 2 August 2025.

Why it matters

A GPAI documentation duty is live today, and its own wording names evaluation results - so the Annex XI Section 2 scope point must not be read as 'nothing is owed'.
