CLAIM-2026-10-12-20

Germany's Energieeffizienzgesetz sets a 300 kW non-redundant rated connection threshold for reporting to the BfEE Energieeffizienzregister by 31 March each year, caps annual average PUE at 1.5 from 1 July 2027 and 1.3 from 1 July 2030 for sites commissioned before 1 July 2026, and requires at least 10 percent waste heat reuse for sites commissioned from 1 July 2026.

Why it matters

Germany sits below the EU floor, so a Berlin operator at 300 kW is already a reporting entity under national law even though the EU regulation would not catch them until 500 kW.
